Upcoming Creative Carryouts

These sessions are designed to teach how easily and quickly you can create paper art!
Learn new techniques, try new products, get new ideas, etc.

Marco’s Creative Carryouts are FREE of charge!!

1. Session lengths may vary and are limited to 4-10 students,
depending on the project and instructor preferences.

2. Sign ups are required. Call the store at 937-433-7030 to register.
To be courteous to our instructors, please cancel your reservation if you are
unable to attend. Instructors spend a lot of time and effort preparing and
if there is a wait list we may be able fill the opening.

3. Please pay special attention to supplies you are asked to bring.
Bringing the required supplies is crucial for the sessions to run smoothly.

4. Please bring your basic stamping kit to all sessions
and be prepared to get your creative juices flowing!!

Masculine Cardmaking/Father's Day Wishes with Wendy Beck
Tuesday, April 30

Join Wendy and create this beautiful accordion strip masculine card
which is perfect for Father’s day or other occasions!
Design paper used as the background may vary from the sample.

Students must bring: Basic Stamping kit, adhesive (liquid, score tape, or glue stick),
corner rounder is optional. You will need distress inks and applicators.
Wendy used Salty Ocean for the sky, Faded Jeans for the water
and Fossilized Amber for the ducklings and beaks.

Color Splash Butterfly with Chris Focke
Thursday, May 2

Join Chris to create a vibrant watercolor card that is perfect for spring and summer occasions!
You will start with a white watercolor base and learn how to use Tim Holtz Distress inks to
create a beautiful color splash background that is the perfect home for a soaring butterfly!

Students must bring:

* Craft Mat - NOT a cutting mat. The mat must allow the ink to “bead up”.
Chris recommends the Ranger or Gary Burlin Craft Mat.

- Distress Ink: You will need 5 or 6 shades. Chris used Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade,
Pickled Raspberry, Wilted Violet, Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron. You need colors
that will blend well when they flow into each other so they won’t look like “mud.”

- #10 or #12 round paintbrush. A small one will not work as it can’t load enough water for
this technique. The brushes are on the front counter of Marco’s for sale.

- Paper towels

- Tape runner or glue

- Ultra fine Sharpie if you have one. Marco’s has them available.
There will be a couple available for use in class but you may have to wait to use one.
