Thank you for your interest in Marco’s Monthly Card Exchange!

We meet on the fourth Wednesday of the month from 11:30- 12:00 in Marco’s store to exchange.

We also have a stamp exchange as part of our meeting. We all have stamps we no longer use, have duplicates, etc. So, if you would like to exchange, bring a few of these stamps with you.

We make and exchange cards for the personal use of our members.

We have a theme for each month but designer’s choice is always an option.

So, how does it work!

1. Please make 16 identical cards with envelopes. We will double exchange extra cards for anyone who likes to do that.

2. Feel free to include your name or other personal information on the card itself.

3. If you would like to make extra cards or contribute cards you do not want or will not use, please bring them to the exchange. We will be donating them to One Bistro on Second Street in Miamisburg. This organization will sell the cards to support their work in feeding and caring for the homeless.

4. We will also be donating cards to the Warren Correctional Institution in Lebanon, OH.

5. Although we have a theme each month and we encourage you to try it, the exchange is open-ended. Designer’s choice is an option every month. If you do not care for the theme, please make 16 cards of your choice- any theme, idea, technique, etc. The thought is that we will all enjoy it more and perhaps increase participation if we like the cards we are making.

6. Signs have been placed in the store to encourage new participants.

7. We are also sharing at the exchange (if you wish)- your technique, anything special about your card, a great web site, new products, etc.

8. We also have a touch-base discussion about how it is going with the exchange.

9. Please bring at least 16 cards with envelopes, your name and any other info you want to share (stamp used, technique, etc.) in a baggie. Please remember to include an envelope. Please be sure to include your name and your e-mail and/or phone number.

10. If you cannot actually attend the exchange, you can still participate. Drop your cards off at the store ahead of time and I will see that they get exchanged. There is a large plastic box for this purpose in the Marcos front window.

We will exchange at Marcos on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 11:30. Please bring at least 16 cards with envelopes, your name and any other info you want to share (stamp used, technique, etc.) in a baggie. This information should be on a separate piece of paper. Please remember to include an envelope. Please be sure to include your name. We do try to exchange promptly at 11:00. Please allow 30 minutes for us to meet and exchange.

If you have any questions, concerns or if I left something out, please contact me.
