DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, April 30 — 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.\nOnline Registration Ends Wednesday\, April 29 — No Same-Day Sign-Ups \nLimit 8 Students — THIS IS AN ADVANCED CLASS \nSOLD OUT\nThis class is for crafters who are proficient with 3D embossing folders and want to take it to the next level.  Participants should be able to perform direct to paper inking.  And you must be proficient with the Big Shot.  Distress Spritz will be used as a spray as well as a painting medium.  You will make 5 card fronts.  Two will have card bases.  The embossing folders used in the class will be available for class participants to purchase at a 20% discount before class.  This is totally optional but these techniques are so beautiful and fun to do\, you will want to make more of them at home!  And if you have your own folder\, you can avoid waiting to share mine.  Some techniques require washing off folders between each person. \nStudent Required Supplies:    \nHero Arts White Unicorn Pigment Ink – It should be well inked and not dry \nVersaFine Clair Nocturne Pigment Ink – This ink is better if it is more on the dry side so no need to reink.\n   THE CORRECT INKS MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE WITH THESE TECHNIQUES!  \nPRIZE RIBBON DISTRESS SPRITZ — Chris will provide her sprays for embossing but you will need your own Prize Ribbon Distress Spritz to match her ink to paint in details. \nBasic Stamping Kit\, Craft Mat (Ranger preferred)\, Dome Foams\, Heat Gun\, Water Bottle\, #2 paintbrush\, Paper Towels \n**Optional:  To avoid waiting in line\, you may want to bring your own “Book Cover Engravings” folder and 1 Oxide Ink and 1 Tim Holtz Blender with dome foam.  Chris will provide Blueprint Sketch as shown in the sample with the Altenew Book Cover Engravings embossing folder. If you have your own folder and your own ink you can save time instead of     waiting to use hers. Picked Raspberry Oxide and Peacock Feathers Oxide are also good choices but they must be well inked to perform this technique. Chris will once again unlock the secrets and reveal a variety of techniques that are fun and easy to do with Distress Mica Stain spray. You will have ample time to work with this innovative spray to create beautiful backgrounds. You will cut a die out of one of your backgrounds and use embossing folders on other backgrounds to create the cards displayed for class. But beware — working with Distress Mica spray can be habit forming! \nSupplies students are required to bring:\n– Basic Stamping Kit\, Pokey tool\, Glue\n– Ranger Craft Mat – 15×18 inches. You need a good size mat that allows the ink to bead up.\n– Distress Mica Spray – NOT DISTRESS SPRTZ!  It will not work for this class.  The colors used for cards on display are: Witchcraft Card: Ominous Twilight\, Flickering Candle and Mulled Cider; Leaf Card: Jack-O-Lantern\, Flickering Candle and Crooked Broomstick \n(Feel free to substitute similar colors and bring additional colors for the backgrounds you will make.  Other colors that will work well are Harvest Moon\, Burning Ember\, Hocus Pocus\, Phantom Mist\, Fortune Teller\, Wicked Elixir and Bubbling Cauldron. If you like grungier colors\, Iron Gate\, Specimen\, Empty Tomb and Decayed are good options too. Bring what you have. More colors means more options and more fun. Be sure to open your sprays at home as they can be a bit tricky to open.)  Purchase your mica sprays as soon as possible so Marco’s will have time to reorder if they run out of a color. \n– Replacement tops — Mica spray can clog from time to time and sometimes you just have to replace the top!\n– Tim Holtz water bottle – You need a bottle that holds at least 4 ounces of water and allows big drips of water as opposed to a spray of water.\n– Roll of Paper Towels – You will use a lot of them!\n– Baby Wipes (Optional but a good idea.) You will definitely have inky fingers!\n– Heat Gun – You will use it a lot! The Ranger Heat gun is preferred because it doesn’t get as hot or blow things around\, but an embossing gun will work.

DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, August 02\, 2025 — 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.\nDeadline for online registration is Friday\, August 1 — to inquire about same-day registration\, please call the store at 937-433-7030 \nSkill level – Intermediate\nLimit 12 Students\nIf you’re like me\, you wait too long to start making Christmas cards or need more at the last minute!  You will be using the Carta Bella paper collection “Christmas Flora Joyful” to complete 8 cards in class.  However\, you will have plenty of supplies to create more on your own.  These projects will utilize printed papers from the 6 x 6 pack\, stamps from Stampers Anonymous. In addition\, you will be using solid cardstock\, embossing ink and powder\, various embellishments and greeting sheets from Anthony’s Paper Craft. \nColor images and cutting instructions will be included in your kit.  (In order to save some time during class\, some pieces will be pre-cut). \nPlease be sure to bring the following supplies to class (If there’s something you do not have\, please contact the store to order the items prior to class): Bonefolder\, Pop dots\, Heat tool (small Ranger will not work)\, Liquid glue\, Non-stick craft sheet\, Paper trimmer (8½” x 11”)\, Pencil\, Replacement trimmer blade\, Ruler\, Scissors\, Tape runner\, Tape runner refills
