It’s an annual tradition here — the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving, we encourage our local customers to bring in handmade coupons! And then we give prizes for the best ones!
It starts with a big empty board in front of the counter, and it fills during the event. Then after the weekend, the judges choose the winners.

This year, the entries were especially good! We took an extra day and added an extra judge or two, and here are the decisions . . .
I hadn’t intended to make the video this big, but Sandy Barton’s winning entry was incomplete without seeing what it could do!
Same with Nancy Galusha’s second place entry — you had to see the flying monkey fly! Plus, you need to see the stamp she used on the back . . .

Teri Wilson and Chris Focke took third and fourth places . . .

Laura Jack, Jeanette Alley, and Sarah Caudill took Honorable Mentions.
Congratulations to the winners — we’re already looking forward to next year!

Luv them all! I’m new to the area. And to cardmkg. Had no idea what it meant to mk your own coupons. What a fun idea!
Stop by our store anytime — we’d love to meet you! We do lots of classes/make and takes and such — take a look at the Events page our our site and join us!
Wish I lived closer! Impressive cards.
